Fallen Apple:Fresh-pressed cider blended with cream ale
Availability: Autumn.
ABV: 6.2%
Fallen Apple was created as a seasonal specialty that was in and of itself a celebration. Fresh-pressed cider from early harvest apples from Kickapoo Orchards in Gays Mills is the base, fermented to leave the cider tart and champagne-like. It is blended with a a cream ale brewed to put some sweetness and body back into the beer, rounding out the sour apple notes. This combination of ethereal apple flavor grounded in an everymans beer makes for a festive and potent brew.
